On 12-14 June 2023, Mr. Vadim Dermenji, General Director of the National Lottery of Moldova Ltd. visited the headquarters of private partners Novomatic AG in Austria

The purpose of the trip was to develop the activities of the National Lottery of Moldova SA by initiating the Program for the organization and conduct of gambling through electronic communication networks. The initiation of this Program is determined by the need to provide a legal alternative in the field of gambling with increased social risk through electronic communication networks to those practiced illicitly on the territory of the country in order to curb these illegal activities, create an additional source of revenue for LNM, ensure the rights of players and increase revenue to the state budget by preventing evasion of tax obligations by unauthorized organizers.

The Austrian partners were informed about the investment opportunities and potential they can benefit from in the Republic of Moldova. Through this visit, it was proposed to establish cooperation relations at institutional and commercial level by attracting investments in the Moldovan economy.
